Schema Therapy

Schema Therapy is a therapy approach that aims to identify and transform “early maladaptive schemas” that develop as a result of negative experiences experienced by individuals during childhood and adolescence and that negatively affect their current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Schema Therapy targets the persistent belief systems that individuals form about themselves, others, and the world. These schemas can affect an individual’s relationships and life experiences, creating dysfunctional cycles. During the therapeutic process, the individual learns to break free from unhealthy patterns and regain emotional balance by working with “schema modes” that emerge, especially at triggering moments. Schema Therapy is a highly effective treatment method, especially for personality disorders, chronic depression, anxiety, relationship problems, self-harm, and emotional problems related to childhood traumas. Clinical studies reveal that the therapy process has a high success rate in terms of developing self-awareness, emotional balance, and healthy relationships in individuals (Young, Klosko, & Weishaar, 2003).

Self-Compassion Focused Art/Dance Workshops

It is a therapy process that aims to practice self-compassion through creative methods such as painting, ceramics, clay and dancing. Participants learn to develop a gentle, understanding and supportive approach to themselves through art. Self-compassion enables individuals to be more understanding towards themselves and to heal emotionally. These workshops help clients to overcome their daily life stress besides the therapy and increase their bodily- spatial awareness by utilizing the healing power of art. While self-compassion and art therapy can be effective in coping with past traumas, relieving emotional burdens and gaining personal awareness (Neff, 2003); self-compassion also improves the emotional health of individuals and helps them cope with negative thoughts in disorders such as depression and anxiety (Germer & Neff, 2013).

Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Coaching

ADHD is a disorder that can continue not only in childhood but also into adulthood, and often creates difficulties in work and social life. Adult ADHD coaching helps these individuals develop time management, organization, goal setting, focus, and stress management skills. Coaches provide strategies for individuals to discover their strengths and overcome challenges. In addition, the coaching process increases self-awareness, allowing the individual to better manage their emotional and behavioral reactions. Coping with ADHD allows individuals to make their daily lives more productive and balanced.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a scientifically proven therapy method that helps individuals identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. The aim of CBT is to develop solutions for current problems by examining the person's thought structure and behaviors. The client learns effective coping strategies while confronting their problems, and thus emotional and behavioral recovery is achieved. Frequently used for psychological problems such as anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, and phobias, CBT offers a short-term, goal-oriented therapy approach.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an effective therapy method developed by Francine Shapiro in 1987 that enables the processing of traumatic memories. EMDR reduces the emotional burden of traumatic memories by activating the brain's natural healing process with bidirectional stimuli such as eye movements and helps clients gain a healthier perspective. EMDR, which is effective in problems such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and depression, has also been successfully applied in conditions such as grief, phobias, self-esteem problems, panic disorders, and relational difficulties. (Shapiro, 1989; van der Kolk, Weathers, & Foa, 2014).
