Who we are?
Our Story
Our journey began with a search for meaning. Our curiosity about the complexities of the human mind, the silence of emotions, and the nuances of healing led us not only to a profession, but also to making a genuine difference.
My double major degree at Koç University allowed me to explore human struggles from both individual and societal perspectives. This dual foundation provided me with a unique lens upon graduation—neither as broadly distant as sociology nor solely individualized as traditional psychology. As a new graduate, I found myself working with neurodivergent individuals as a young psychologist. This deeply fulfilling field opened the doors of psychology to me. The practical experience I gained prior to my master’s degree guided my specialization path, giving me invaluable experience across corporate psychology, play therapy, and rehabilitation settings.
My subsequent journey to the Netherlands was no coincidence. My motivation to study in one of Europe’s leading English Clinical Psychology programs was not just to gain academic expertise, but to observe psychotherapeutic practices firsthand at the heart of cultural diversity. During this time, we paid close attention to the psychological challenges and language barriers faced by immigrants. Right after completing my research in this field, offering psychological support in their mother tongue to Turkish-speaking clients in the Netherlands became more than just a choice—it became an ethical and human responsibility.
The clinical experience I gained in the Netherlands enhanced my ability to practice therapy in multicultural settings. Working with individuals aged 17–65 from diverse ethnic backgrounds, I directly witnessed the impact of trauma, migration, identity conflicts, and social exclusion on individual mental health. This experience provided me with a rare opportunity—one difficult to obtain solely in Turkey—to work with individuals across all economic and cultural backgrounds.
Throughout this process, I effectively utilized evidence-based approaches—specifically EMDR, Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and STEPS—while continuously advancing my training. We worked with multifaceted clinical presentations, including ADHD, personality disorders, complex trauma, dissociative symptoms, panic disorders, cultural identity conflicts, and adjustment difficulties. It was also in the Netherlands that I was introduced to ADHD coaching, a field I actively developed myself in by completing diagnostic assessment training for tools such as MOXO and DIVA to support my coaching practice.
Upon returning to Turkey, I brought back not only education and experience, but also a vision held close to my heart: to foster a culturally sensitive, evidence-based, and holistic approach to human care.
Today, we work with this vision every single day. By adapting powerful techniques learned in the West to local needs, we aim to offer sustainable, deep, and respectful counseling. Our most immediate goal is to introduce art, sports, and body-oriented coaching practices that you can benefit from outside of your counseling sessions. We aspire to serve clients from all around the world.
Therefore, our story is not merely a success story shaped by international experience; it is a humanistic, responsible, and committed journey aimed at reaching every client.
And this journey does not belong to us alone.
This is the story of everyone who transforms and grows stronger together.
